The Great American Family Circus came to town on Sunday for two action-paced performances setting up in the North Exhibit Hall at The Center for Rural Development in Somerset.

The spacious exhibit hall, which is usually reserved for banquets and large events, was transformed for the first time into a big top circus.

The show included elephant rides for the children, juggling acts, acrobats on horses, crazy contortionists, and daring aerialists.

The Great American Family Circus is one of only a dozen family-owned big top and indoor circuses left traveling the country.
