Last week for Toys for Tots

If you haven’t made a donation to Toys for Tots, this is the final week to do so at The Center for Rural Development.
The Center will be accepting new or slightly used toys for the holiday community toy drive through Wednesday, Dec. 12. Wrapped or unwrapped toys may be dropped off at The Center on South U.S. 27 (at Traffic Light 15) and placed in Santa’s sleigh near the Christmas tree in the front lobby.
The Center kicked off the Toys for Tots campaign for Boy Scout Troop 79 and Cub Scout Pack 134 at its annual “Spirit of Giving” tree-lighting ceremony on Monday, Nov. 26, during a special night of entertainment and celebration to usher in the holiday season.
The Toys for Tots campaign provides Christmas toys to children in need in the Somerset-Pulaski County area.
