Dr. Joseph "Joe" L. Fink III

Dr. Joseph “Joe” L. Fink III, professor of law and policy at the University of Kentucky (UK) College of Pharmacy and a board member of The Center for Rural Development’s Board of Directors, received an honorary doctor of science degree for his “leadership in pharmacy law and public policy in the pharmaceutical industry and for his continued dedication to innovation and excellence.”

Fink was presented the honor in February at the annual Founders’ Day celebration for the University of the Sciences (USciences) in Philadelphia, Pa.

Fink has devoted his career to the advancement of pharmacy, law, research, and education, and truly embodies the innovative spirit of Founders’ Day, according to a press release by USciences.

Licensed to practice pharmacy in Kentucky and Pennsylvania, he has been admitted to the practice of law in both states, as well as before the United States Supreme Court.

Fink is UK’s representative on The Center’s Board of Directors.
