SRTB-RC workshop in Maryland

Public safety first responders from across the country will be in Maryland this week for a three-day workshop co-hosted by the Small, Rural, Tribal and Border Regional Center (SRTB-RC), a public safety program operated by The Center for Rural Development.

Workshop participants will be at Loews Annapolis Maryland, located at 126 West St. Annapolis, from June 11-13 for a pre-flight briefing on public safety guidance on Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS).

At the workshop, public safety first responders will learn more about what it takes to plan and implement a UAS operation. Agencies and individuals with first-hand experience on these types of aircraft systems will be available to answer questions and share best practices.

The workshop is co-hosted by SRTB-RC and the Law Enforcement Aviation Technology program in collaboration with The Center for Rural Development and other national partners
