Rogers Explorers are already making a difference in their lives and the community of Adair County.

The first class of the 2013 Rogers Explorers youth leadership program arrived on the campus of Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia on Sunday and quickly went to work later that evening on a community service project.

Rogers Explorers, all middle school graduates, participated in a PRIDE (Personal Responsibility in a Desirable Environment) cleanup project picking up litter and debris around Green River Lake.

Rogers Explorers will remain on the campus of Lindsey Wilson College through Tuesday.
