New Year’s Eve Benefit Show

“Celebrating the Sounds of Carpenters Once More”

Direct from the historic Owen Theater in Branson, Mo., tribute artists Diana Lynn and Ron Preston celebrate the sounds of one of America’s greatest pop music duo, The Carpenters, in a New Year’s Eve benefit show at The Center for Rural Development.

This heartwarming tribute show, “Celebrating the Sound of Carpenters Once More” will highlight some of Karen and Richard Carpenter’s greatest hits like “Yesterday Once More,” “Close to You,” “For All We Know,” “Postman,” “Ticket to Ride,” and many more.

The show, presented by Cumberland Productions and The Center, begins at 8 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.

A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to support GUMI Camp USA for homeless veterans.

For tickets, stop by The Center at 2292 South U.S. 27 at Traffic Light 15 in Somerset or call 677-2906. Tickets are $20 per person.
