Three new Excel classes in May

YCOL-male-3Harness the power of Excel and become an advanced user at our Your Center of Learning Microsoft Office Excel classes at The Center for Rural Development.

Microsoft Office specialist Carol Whitson will be leading three Excel classes in May for beginner, intermediate, and advanced-level users.

Microsoft Office Excel 2013: Level 1 — May 6
8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Approved for 7 hours of EILA credit
In this class, you will learn to create and develop worksheets and workbooks in order to work with and analyse the data that is critical to the success of your organization.

Microsoft Office Excel 2013: Level 2 — May 9
8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Approved for 7 hours of EILA credit
This class builds upon the foundation of Microsoft Office Excel and will help you start down the road to creating advanced workbooks and worksheets that will help deepen your understanding of organizational intelligence.

Microsoft Office Excel 2013: Level 3 — May 10
8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Approved for 7 hours of EILA credit
By now, you’re already familiar with Excel 2013. But you need to know how to use Excel to do more for you so you can focus on what’s really important: staying ahead of the competition. That’s exactly what this class aims to help you do.

CyberSAFE (Securing Assets for End-Users)— May 23
9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Approved for 4.5 hours of EILA credit
This course will help you to understand security compliance considerations, social engineering, malware, and various other security-related concepts. It will also explore the hazards and pitfalls and learn how to use technology safely and securely.
