Linda Gatten Butler, president of Butler Consulting Inc. and consultant to the national grants management system eCivis, is leading a free training workshop on best-practice tips for seeking grants.

Butler has over 25 years of grant experience and has worked with more than 180 organizations nationwide to provide grant seeking, fundraising, and training and managing services. She also serves as a consultant for the eCivis Grants Network, which is the leading cloud-based grants management system in the nation for state and local governments and school districts.

The training will cover the basic fundamentals of grant seeking, including:

  • Understanding the grant-seeking process
  • Tips for writing a fundable proposal
  • Learn the “3 Rs” of grant seeking
  • Develop a logic model
