Busy business professionals can now receive advanced technical training with minimal impact on their work schedules, spend less time away from the office, and reduce expenses associated with travel without sacrificing a live learning environment.

Online LIVE classes—live, expert instruction on the Web in the nation’s leading technical training courses—are available through The Center for Rural Development’s Your Center of Learning business and workplace training program.

Representatives from New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, The Center’s e-learning and training partner, will lead a free informational session on Tuesday, April 3, from 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at The Center in Somerset on the industry-leading, e-learning offering, Online LIVE.

The Online LIVE session will take place prior to the monthly luncheon meeting of the Somerset-Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce held in The Center’s Exhibit Hall. Business professionals and employers in the region are invited to come early, attend the informational session, and then stay for the local Chamber meeting.

These instructor-led classes, taught by respected experts from across the nation, come with a “Guaranteed-to-Run” commitment, which means students are assured classes will not be canceled due to low enrollments. Employers who train through Online LIVE classes also will receive exclusive pricing discounts through The Center.

During the session, The Center and New Horizons will be discussing the advantages of this comprehensive advanced technical training program that is helping prepare employees with the knowledge and skills needed to meet the critical needs of training in the workplace.

Online LIVE gives employers in Southern and Eastern Kentucky a virtually unlimited array of  certification-track advanced technical training classes, all offered, in a classroom setting, on-site at The Center for Rural Development. Some of the most advanced training available in the nation is available through this innovative distance learning program.”
