Graduates of The Center for Rural Development’s Rogers Scholars, Rogers Explorers, and Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute (ELI) summer youth leadership programs are invited to join their friends for a day of fun, food, and football on Saturday, Sept. 29, at the 2012 Youth Programs Reunion.

This year’s reunion will be held on the campus of Georgetown College, located in Central Kentucky just north of the cross roads of I-75 and I-64 in Georgetown, Ky. Check-in time is 10 a.m. EST.

Graduates will enjoy lunch together and attend a football game later that afternoon between Georgetown College and Bethel University.

“I am very excited about this year’s reunion,” said Delaney Stephens, youth programs coordinator and community liaison for The Center. “It’s a great opportunity for Scholars, Explorers, and ELI participants to reunite with friends, meet new ones, and spend time networking.”

The deadline to register for the 2012 Youth Programs Reunion is Sept. 20. Lunch and tickets to the football game will be provided to graduates attending the reunion.

“Georgetown College has been very accommodating in offering to host this year’s reunion, and The Center thanks them for their generosity,” said Stephens.

The Center, a nonprofit organization in Somerset, plans and coordinates three youth leadership programs for middle and high school students in Southern and Eastern Kentucky each summer as part of its leadership focus area.
