Six new instructor-led classes have been added to The Center for Rural Development’s Your Center of Learning business and workforce skills training program.
The Center and its e-learning training partner, New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, offer professional expert training in some of Microsoft’s top business software programs.
The latest Your Center of Learning classes to be introduced by The Center include:
- Excel Level 1: Oct. 22
- PowerPoint Level 1: Oct. 29
- Intro to iPad/iPhone: Oct. 29
- Word Level 1: Nov. 12
- Quickbooks Level 1: Nov. 19-20
- Access Level 1: Dec. 17-18

All of these classes will be held from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at The Center, located at 2292 South U.S. 27 (at Traffic Light 15), in Somerset.
The Microsoft business software classes will be taught by a New Horizons instructor. Somerset Community College Information Technology manager DeAnna Proctor will be leading the introductory iPad and iPhone training class.
