The top 30 photographs in the Redbud Trails Photography Contest sponsored by TOUR Southern and Eastern Kentucky (TOUR SEKY) are on display in a new visual arts exhibit at The Center for Rural Development.

Each April, TOUR SEKY hosts a photography contest in celebration of Redbud Month. All of the entries can now be viewed in the visual arts gallery at The Center through Aug. 28.

The Redbud Trails Photography Contest is open to all amateur photographers in TOUR SEKY’s 49-county service region. The entries were judged earlier this year during the Redbud Garden Party in Middlesboro. The top three photos will be used in 2014 Redbud Trails marketing.

TOUR SEKY is an award-winning initiative of U.S. Congressman Harold “Hal” Rogers (KY-05). The organization’s mission is to educate, expand, develop and market the existing and potential tourism industry throughout Southern and Eastern Kentucky, while contributing to the economic, cultural growth, health and awareness, and overall quality of life of the region.
