Readers of the Kentucky Living magazine have voted The Center for Rural Development as the region’s top local performing arts site in the 2015 Best of Kentucky readership poll.

The Center is home to Center Stage LIVE! and School Time Theatre performing arts series and hosts live concert performances and special events for the entire family in its 760-seat, state-of-the-art theatre.

“We are proud to be named the top local performing arts site in the region by Kentucky Living readers,” said Laura Glover, director of sales and events for The Center. “This is an incredible honor to be voted the Best in Kentucky for 2015 by supporters of the performing arts all across the state.”

Center Stage LIVE! and School Time Theatre performing arts series are presented by Lake Cumberland Performing Arts in partnership with The Center.

“Both series were created to bring the performing arts and family-oriented entertainment to audiences of all ages in the Lake Cumberland area and throughout the state,” said Dianna Winstead, associate director of arts, culture, and events at The Center. “We strive to educate, entertain, and enrich the lives of people everywhere through high quality, professional performances.”
