See nature in a whole new light

Photographer Larry Coffey of Stearns sees nature in a whole new light.

As a young boy, Coffey spent much of his time hunting, fishing, and exploring the mountains near his native McCreary County home.

Coffey’s appreciation for the Great Outdoors took on a new meaning when he picked up a digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera for the first time in 2011.

“Once I discovered photography, I began to see nature in a whole new way,” said Coffey, a self-taught landscape and nature photographer. “I decided to combine my love for nature with my passion for photography.”

Stop by and view Coffey’s spectacular exhibit on display through May 1.

All of the canvas prints and framed photographs featured in the exhibit are available for sale. To make a purchase, call Larry Coffey, LD Coffey Pics, at 606-354-6221.
