Hankering for some Kentucky-inspired appetizers and hors d’oeuvres? Whether you’re looking for a light bite to serve at your next spring gathering, or a casual finger food for game day, your guests will be champing at the bit to taste one of these!

Join Chef Mete as you master traditional techniques to turn your favorite bites into gourmet treats.


  • Country ham tea biscuits with cheddar, fig jam and Bleu Cheese butter
  • Mini hot browns 
  • Southern pimento cheese sandwiches

Little Chefs cooking class

$15 for children (ages 5 and above) and 
$25 for adults
All Little Chefs must be accompanied by a paid adult

It’s time to hand over the whisk to the next generation of Kentucky cooks! Our kid’s cooking class introduces youth to the pleasures of preparing and enjoying traditional Kentucky dishes that are both nutritious and delicious.  Your child will learn basic cooking skills, the joy of eating and cooking with fresh fruits and vegetables, and proper kitchen safety techniques.

Chef Mete Sergin has prepared several classic, kid-friendly recipes that are the perfect meals and snacks for even the pickiest of eaters.


  • Spaghetti and meatballs in marinara sauce (kids will make their own meatballs, learn how to cook pasta, and how to serve it all together) 
  • Breaded (baked) chicken tenders (kids will make their own chicken tenders) 
  • Chocolate Mousse Phyllo cups with whipped cream cheese and raspberries (kids will assemble the dessert)
