The Wandering Artists is a group of adventurous painters and sketchers who visit photogenic locations in the area to inspire their art.

During the last year, they have painted scenes from Downtown Somerset, Moody Farms, Burnett Farms, the backyard garden at the home of U.S. Congressman Harold “Hal” Rogers (KY-05), the Lake Cumberland Wildlife Refuge Home of Liberty Nature Center, and the Burkett homestead.

The exhibit features a selection of their work inspired by the places they have visited in Somerset and Pulaski County while painting outdoors. There is no charge to view the exhibit on display through April.

Members of the Wandering Artists are Jackie Bales, Jamison Brumm, Susan Burkett, Cheryl Burnett, CeCe Butcher, Diana Colgate, Roni Gilpin, Linda Horn Gover, Janie Hail, Cindy Heideman, Joyce Ard, Liz Isaacs, Cindy Nave, Kasandra McNeil, Czarina Onishenko, Marci Randall, Debbie Rogers, Karen Roland, Henrietta Scott, Peggy Sherry, Cookie Thompson, Sharon Walker, Nina Wilhelm, and Rebecca Williams.
