3-D Printing: Getting Started Online Training

Are you a hobbyist just getting started with 3D printing?

The Center for Rural Development’s Business & Community Training Center is offering an online, instructor-led training course on Thursday, Jan. 14, from 6 p.m.-7:15 p.m. to help get you started with 3D printing.

The training session will take a look at the basics of 3D printing and how to locate and edit designs and export codes to print.

If you live in one of the COAL POWER counties and are unemployed or underemployed, you could be eligible to attend this training at no cost.

Counties served through the program include: Bell, Clay, Floyd, Harlan, Johnson, Knott, Knox, Laurel, Leslie, Letcher, McCreary, Perry, Pulaski, and Whitley.

The COAL program is administered through The Center for Rural Development and funded through a POWER grant from the Appalachian Regional Commission.
