Get hands-on Excel training at our live online training provided by The Center for Rural Development’s Business & Community Training Center.

Our new live online training courses will allow you to receive the same full classroom experience and step-by-step instructions from a Microsoft-certified instructor from the comfort of your home or office.

Follow along, ask questions, and complete practical work assignments and classroom demonstrations with your instructor using an online Excel workbook.

Here’s what you will need
All students will need access to a personal computer, the Internet, and Microsoft Office Excel 2016 software.

About the course

Microsoft Office Excel can help you organize, calculate, analyze, revise, update, and present your data in ways that will help the decision makers in your organization steer you in the right direction.

Of course, knowing exactly how to ask Excel the questions that you need answered, which questions you can even ask, and how to interpret the answers Excel gives is necessary before you can even begin to embark on the journey ahead. This course aims to provide you with the Excel knowledge and skills necessary to begin that journey.

Course Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to create and develop Excel worksheets and workbooks in order to work with and analyze the data that is critical to the success of your organization.

Meet the Instructor

Carol Whitson is a certified Microsoft Office specialist and has her GISP (Geographic Information Specialist Professional) certification. She is proficient in Microsoft Office family of products, QuickBooks, and Sage software and has taught various GIS and custom software courses.
