OSHA 10-Hour Training  | Feb. 22-23 | The Center for Rural Development

To help businesses learn more about OSHA safety requirements in the workplace, The Center for Rural Development is teaming up with The Safety Firm LLC, an OSHA-certified safety and health training company, to present an OSHA 10-Hour training on Feb. 22-23. This is an in-person training and seating is limited.

The training, taught by an experienced OSHA authorized instructor, will provide participants with two days of intensive review of the current OSHA requirements in the area of occupational safety and health.

OSHA Training Schedule
Feb. 22: 8:30 AM-5 PM (Lunch on your own)
Feb. 23: 8:30 AM-12:30 PM (Lunch on your own)

Training is limited to 30 participants
This training is limited to 30 participants and will be held at The Center for Rural Development, 2292 South U.S. 27 (at Traffic Light 15) in Somerset, KY. In accordance with COVID-19 health and safety requirements, social distancing, temperature checks, and protective face masks are required.

OSHA Training Topics

Participants will be recognized for successfully completing the program
Each participant who completes the two-day OSHA training will receive a wallet card in the mail from the Department of Labor acknowledging their successful completion of the course from an OSHA accepted provider.

Meet Your Instructor

Bobbie K. Samples, CPA is the Owner and Principal Trainer of The Safety Firm, LLC. This is the sixth business she has successfully imagined, created, owned and operated.

She received her Business Management degree from Indiana Wesleyan University and has worked at the executive level within Fortune 500 companies in the areas of human resources and safety.

Through The Safety Firm, LLC, Bobbi works with businesses to help them manage, audit, train, and grow their safety program to higher levels.
