Get Going with Intuit QuickBooks Live Online Training

QuickBooks is the No. 1 financial accounting software used by today’s small business owners.

Get going with Intuit QuickBooks at our live online training provided by The Center for Rural Development’s Business & Community Training Center.

Our  new live online training will allow you to receive the same full classroom experience and step-by-step instructions from a professional QuickBooks instructor from the comfort of your home or office.

Follow along, ask questions, and complete practical work assignments and classroom demonstrations with your instructor using an online QuickBooks workbook.

Here’s what you will need
All students will need access to a personal computer, the Internet, and Intuit QuickBooks 2018 software.

About the course

You will use the basic features of QuickBooks to record and track your business transactions.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Explore the QuickBooks interface and access the QuickBooks centers available in QuickBooks to familiarize yourself with the application
  • Set up a company and update the Chart of Accounts using the EasyStep Interview Wizard feature
  • Build and manage lists using the options available in the QuickBooks centers
  • Manage inventory using the options in the Vendor Center
  • Record a product sale in QuickBooks using the options in the Customer Center
  • Create invoice for services using the options in the Vendors Center

Meet the Instructor

Carol Whitson is a certified Microsoft Office specialist and has her GISP (Geographic Information Specialist Professional) certification. She is proficient in Microsoft Office family of products, QuickBooks, and Sage software, and has taught various custom software courses.
