Little Girl is thrilled when she receives Biscuit as a birthday present, but will this rambunctious puppy learn how to behave and accept being part of a family? Based on the iconic series of books by Alyssa Satin Capucilli and illustrator Pat Schories, ArtsPower’s popular musical features a frolicking little puppy who loves exploring, making new friends, and even stirring up some mischief. With over 23 million books in print, Biscuit is a modern classic!

Admission is $5 per child/student. One complimentary teacher (supervisor) admission will be provided for every 10 paid admissions. Each additional teacher (supervisor) admission is $5. Sales tax will be applied to all ticket sales.  School Time Theatre

School Time Theatre, presented by Lake Cumberland Performing Arts in partnership with The Center for Rural Development, seeks to share the magic of the arts with students and adults in Southern and Eastern Kentucky.

All School Time Theatre programs are selected with two goals in mind: education and quality. Many are based on familiar children’s literature or historic characters, emphasize positive values, or introduce students to unfamiliar art forms.  In addition to the sheer enjoyment of the arts, attending live theatre has been shown to fulfill or enhance many of the goals of the average school curriculum. “Thematic Connections” information is provided for each performance, and free study guides are made available. All performances are open to the public.

Visit School Time Theatre page to learn more about the 2018-2019 season.

The Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency, provides operating support to Lake Cumberland Performing Arts with state tax dollars and federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
