Explore your creative side in The Center for Rural Development’s new painting series, “Your Own Painted Canvas – Where Fun Meets Art.”

This energetic and festival bird is the perfect seasonal way to work on wet blending and brush techniques at The Center for Rural Development’s next paining class on Nov. 12. We will be using a minimal color palette, as our focus will be on shape, brushwork, and texture. Come join us for some fellowship and Turkey Day fun!

Award-winning instructor Jeremy Scrimager will guide you through creating your own version of this monthly featured painting. The Center will provide everything needed, along with the clean-up, so you can just show up and have a great time.

The painting class will run from 6:30 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. and costs $35 per person. Participants must be over 12 years old to participate.

Final painting class in the series:
December 17

Registration will close 48 hours prior to class, with a limit of 30 people per class. If the class is full, please contact The Center at 606-677-6000 to be placed on a waiting list.
